MODEL

Scattering NSOM

LOCATION

Pierce B5

The neaSNOM from Neaspec GmbH is a scattering-Scanning Near-field Optical Microscope (s-SNOM). The system can provide Amplitude and Phase near-field imaging of nanostructures with AFM resolution. The system is equipped with a CW QCL laser in the range 900-1800cm-1 for pseudo-heterodyne imaging and a DFG laser for nano-FTIR spectroscopy in the range 800-2100cm-1. A. Ambrosio et al. ACS Nano, DOI: 10.1021/acsnano.7b02323 (2017)

A mandatory two hours class Introduction to Scanning Probe Microscopy is required before attending any specific training for this machine.
